About the Role

The Lead Developer – Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Service role is a technical leadership position that requires a deep understanding of automation, security, and collaboration. As the main developer and technical lead for the IaC service, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction and architecture of the service, as well as working hands-on with automation code. The IaC service is a critical component of Yopeso's software development process, enabling the automated, reproducible, and secure provisioning of IT infrastructure for engineering, test, and project environments. What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain the technical architecture and direction of the IaC service
  • Work hands-on with automation code, including Ansible, Python, and scripting
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Owner and multiple stakeholders to ensure the success of the service
  • Guide and support other contributors, including technical mentoring and code reviews
  • Ensure the security and scalability of the service, and implement measures to prevent downtime and data loss
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the service, including technical guides and user manuals
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as R&D, solutions, and test setups, to ensure integration and alignment
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate tasks and processes
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for the service outside of regular working hours
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve the service

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong background in infrastructure automation and platform engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Ansible and Terraform
  • Comfortable with Windows-based environments, including Active Directory and Windows Server
  • Engineering mindset, with a focus on structure, quality, and maintainability
  • Ability to take technical ownership and work across teams
  • Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including security hardening and policy-driven infrastructure setups
  • Experience with DevOps and SecDevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment

  • Experience with IT service management, including ITIL and COBIT
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS
