About the Role
As a Lead Engineer in Stability Analysis, you will contribute to the LOCA, Containment & Stability Analysis Team, performing plant thermal-hydraulic safety analysis using two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques.Responsibilities
- Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in areas such as ECCS LOCA, Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analyses.
- Take responsibility for fuel project activities, including reload analyses, methods implementation, power uprates, new fuel introductions, and safety analysis support for emergent fuel issues.
- Engage with interfacing teams to find optimum customer solutions and prepare, document, and present technical data to internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in T-H Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis.
