About the Role
The Lead Enterprise Architect role at CommandLink is a pivotal position that involves designing, implementing, and documenting IT systems that align closely with the company's overall strategic objectives. What You Will Do
- Design and implement comprehensive IT architectures that meet current and future business needs, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Conduct thorough business analysis to identify requirements and propose technical solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the IT systems, including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and technical guides.
- Lead the development of technology roadmaps and strategic plans that align with the company's overall business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT solutions are integrated and meet business requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies to improve existing systems and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, promoting a culture of innovation and best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments of the IT systems' performance and propose improvements to ensure they meet or exceed business expectations.
- Facilitate communication between IT and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned with the IT strategy.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, systems architecture, system design, and IT/technology infrastructure design and planning.
- Proven knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, FEAF, and DODAF.
- Experience with new and emerging technologies and governance models, such as AI and Zero Trust, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop creative, practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- US Citizenship is required for this position.
- Experience working in a remote setup, with a proven ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

- Certification in enterprise architecture or a related field.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and their integration into enterprise architectures.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, particularly in the context of enterprise architecture.
