About the Role

As a Lead Product Engineer at Infinx, you will play a critical role in driving the design, development, and delivery of business-critical software solutions. You will partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders to understand complex business challenges and develop scalable technical solutions. The Lead Product Engineer role combines technical leadership, product thinking, and software engineering expertise. You will serve as a technical leader within the team, helping shape product direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand business objectives and product requirements
  • Lead requirements analysis sessions and identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions and implementation strategies
  • Recommend and evaluate design options, architecture patterns, and technical approaches
  • Ensure requirements are clearly defined, actionable, and aligned with product goals
  • Lead the breakdown of epics and initiatives into well-defined user stories and technical tasks
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure stories are development-ready
  • Facilitate backlog refinement and contribute to sprint and release planning
  • Identify technical dependencies and help prioritize work based on business value and technical impact
  • Provide accurate effort estimates and implementation guidance
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web application and backend services
  • Develop robust solutions using PHP, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on PHP, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Strong expertise in software development, testing, and maintenance
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with mentoring engineers and leading development efforts
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns and architecture
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel, particularly in data analysis and reporting
