About the Role

The Lead Product Manager, Compliance will play a crucial role in driving compliance-related product initiatives end-to-end, from interpreting regulatory requirements to delivery. This involves understanding the regulatory landscape across various markets, scoping product changes, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compliance and legal requirements, as well as technical fluency to drive honest conversations with engineers.

As a key member of the product team, the Lead Product Manager, Compliance will work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk, and engineering. The ability to build trust with legal and risk teams, while making smart trade-offs and driving delivery, is essential. The role requires a unique blend of compliance expertise, business acumen, and technical skills to navigate the complex regulatory landscape.

The Lead Product Manager, Compliance will be responsible for tracking regulatory changes, assessing product impact, and proactively driving changes to ensure compliance. This involves translating compliance and legal requirements into well-scoped product specifications, with a focus on reliability, data integrity, and auditability.

What You Will Do

  • Own compliance-related product initiatives end-to-end, from regulatory requirements to delivery
  • Develop and maintain the compliance product roadmap, including regulatory requirements, KYC/AML, and onboarding flows
  • Track regulatory changes across key jurisdictions and assess product impact proactively
  • Translate compliance and legal requirements into well-scoped product specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive delivery and ensure successful implementation
  • Own KYC/AML product logic, including onboarding flows, identity verification, and risk-based customer categorization
  • Define and improve transaction monitoring product logic, including rules, thresholds, and alert flows
  • Analyze and validate data across systems to understand data flows and identify root causes of data issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk, and engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements
  • Technical fluency, with the ability to drive honest conversations with engineers

  • Proven experience in driving compliance-related product initiatives end-to-end
