About the Role

The Lead Solution Architect at Raintree Systems plays a pivotal role in reimagining the company's healthcare technology platform. This involves translating complex business and product requirements into scalable, modern technical solutions that fit seamlessly across Raintree's product portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment and brings deep expertise in platform modernization, data synchronization, and distributed systems. Reporting to the SVP of Engineering and Innovation, this role requires strong technical leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

  • Perform Technical Lead responsibilities for Application Architecture, ensuring best practices and architecture initiatives
  • Partner with Product Management to design end-to-end technical solutions for the Scheduler product
  • Refactor the NewGen platform to accelerate developer velocity, maintainability, and lower operating costs
  • Lead automation and engineering initiatives to operationalize and streamline enterprise readiness of the Newgen Platform
  • Ensure interoperability by architecting and implementing healthcare data exchange using HL7, FHIR, CCD, and related standards
  • Design robust data sync mechanisms, defining data synchronization, replication, and consistency models across multi-tenant, distributed, and hybrid environments
  • Collaborate with leaders across Architecture, Agile Delivery, Cloud Infrastructure, and Security to ensure solutions meet business, technical, and compliance requirements
  • Provide execution strategy, code reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Assist and enable Raintree's development team in moving to an Agentic AI-based Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC)
  • Operate with urgency, driving results in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment where speed and quality must co-exist

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a Principal Engineer or Architect role
  • Proven success in platform modernization and re-architecting monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices architectures
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, EDI, etc.) and integration/interoperability frameworks
  • Experience designing and implementing data synchronization and replication strategies across distributed systems
  • Technical depth in AWS platform, including Serverless, GraphQL & RESTful APIs, eventing & messaging architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Demonstrated ability to balance long-term architectural goals with short-term product delivery needs
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Passion for quality, data-driven, execution-minded, and oriented towards outcomes rather than output

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agentic AI-based Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC)
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security best practices
  • Certification in AWS or similar technologies
