About the Role

The Lead Solutions Engineer position at Webflow is a critical role that involves partnering closely with customers, sales teams, and product teams to ensure mutual, long-term success. As a key member of the Solutions Engineering team, you will be responsible for understanding customers' strategic objectives and technical requirements, and then architecting and demonstrating innovative solutions that unlock meaningful business value for them. You will also champion the voice of customers, understanding market trends and influencing product direction. This is a full-time, permanent, and exempt role that requires residence in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones, with an in-person onboarding session in San Francisco, CA.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with 2-3 Account Executives and support multiple active customer opportunities across the growing Enterprise segment
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure on-time solution delivery
  • Guide customers through the evaluation process of Webflow, ensuring that the solution meets key business objectives and technical requirements
  • Tell the differentiated story of Webflow, showing how the solution helps customers meet their business objectives
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure alignment and mutual success
  • Understand customers' strategic objectives and technical requirements, and architect innovative solutions
  • Demonstrate solutions to customers, highlighting the value and benefits of the Webflow platform
  • Champion the voice of customers, understanding market trends and influencing product direction
  • Work closely with the Product team to provide feedback and insights on customer needs and market trends
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Webflow platform and its applications
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to solution development

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience as a solutions engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in digital experience platforms
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex solutions to customers
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience with platforms like Webflow, or similar digital experience platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other productivity tools
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with AI-native digital experience platforms
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as JavaScript or Python
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and technologies
  • Certification in digital experience platforms or related fields
