Lead Sourcing Specialist - Supplier Quality Engineering

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement quality plans for assigned suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
• Conduct supplier qualification processes to select the best suppliers for the company's needs.
• Own supplier results, including driving improvements and resolving quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Utilize supplier scorecards to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct audits to ensure supplier compliance and drive improvement plans where necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supplier quality goals with overall business objectives.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in supplier quality.
• Develop and execute action plans to address supplier quality issues and improve overall supplier performance.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in supplier quality engineering.

What We Are Looking For

• Advanced experience in Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering, with a strong understanding of quality management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and the ability to manage vendors effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.

• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to quality and compliance.
