About the Role
The Lead Technical Recruiter position at Bjak is a critical role that combines hands-on recruitment execution with leadership responsibilities. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for driving hiring across various technical functions, including Engineering, Product, Data, AI, and Infrastructure. What You Will Do
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for technical positions across various functions
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define hiring requirements, interview strategies, and talent profiles
- Act as a trusted talent advisor, providing market intelligence, talent mapping, compensation insights, and hiring recommendations
- Drive recruitment outcomes for complex, senior, niche, and business-critical technical positions globally
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top passive talent
- Build and maintain strong technical talent pipelines to support both immediate and future hiring needs
- Conduct talent mapping exercises across target companies, industries, and markets
- Stay current on technical hiring trends, market conditions, and talent availability
- Mentor and support junior recruiters to improve sourcing capability, candidate assessment quality, and stakeholder management effectiveness
- Establish and continuously improve recruitment processes, sourcing methodologies, and hiring best practices
- Review recruitment performance, pipeline quality, and hiring outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement
What We Are Looking For
- 5-8 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with significant exposure to technical hiring
- Proven track record of recruiting for Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, AI/ML, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cybersecurity, or related technical functions
- Demonstrated success in hiring senior and difficult-to-fill technical positions in competitive talent markets
- Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, networking, referrals, and other advanced sourcing techniques
- Experience with Excel and other recruitment tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the technical hiring landscape
Nice to Have
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics and data analysis
- Familiarity with international recruitment regulations and best practices
- Certification in recruitment or a related field
