About the Role

The Lead Technical Recruiter role at Bjak is a critical position that combines hands-on recruitment execution with leadership responsibilities. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for driving hiring across Engineering, Product, Data, AI, Infrastructure, and other technical functions globally. Your day-to-day activities will involve partnering with hiring managers and senior leaders to define hiring requirements, interview strategies, talent profiles, and workforce planning priorities.

The role requires a deep understanding of the technical recruitment landscape, including the latest trends, market conditions, and compensation benchmarks. You will need to leverage this knowledge to develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies, build and maintain strong technical talent pipelines, and drive recruitment outcomes for complex, senior, and business-critical technical positions globally.

As a leader within the organization, you will be expected to mentor and support junior recruiters, helping improve their sourcing capability, candidate assessment quality, and stakeholder management effectiveness. You will also play a key role in establishing and continuously improving recruitment processes, sourcing methodologies, interview calibration standards, and hiring best practices.

What You Will Do

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for technical positions across Engineering, Product, Data, AI, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cybersecurity, QA, and related functions
  • Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define hiring requirements, interview strategies, talent profiles, and workforce planning priorities
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor by providing market intelligence, talent mapping, compensation insights, and hiring recommendations
  • Drive recruitment outcomes for complex, senior, niche, and business-critical technical positions globally
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top passive talent across competitive international markets
  • Build and maintain strong technical talent pipelines to support both immediate and future hiring needs
  • Conduct talent mapping exercises across target companies, industries, and markets
  • Stay current on technical hiring trends, market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability across key regions
  • Mentor and support junior recruiters, helping improve their sourcing capability, candidate assessment quality, and stakeholder management effectiveness
  • Establish and continuously improve recruitment processes, sourcing methodologies, interview calibration standards, and hiring best practices
  • Review recruitment performance, pipeline quality, and hiring outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement

What We Are Looking For

  • 5-8 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with significant exposure to technical hiring
  • Proven track record recruiting for Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, AI/ML, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cybersecurity, or related technical functions
  • Demonstrated success hiring senior and difficult-to-fill technical positions in competitive talent markets
  • Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, networking, referrals, and other advanced sourcing techniques
  • Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the technical recruitment landscape

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a global recruitment environment, with knowledge of international recruitment laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies
  • Certification in recruitment or a related field, such as a Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification
