About the Role

The Learning and Development Specialist role at Headlight is a critical component of the company's mission to transform mental healthcare. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, facilitating, and iterating on high-quality virtual and blended learning experiences for clinical and non-clinical audiences. Your expertise in adult learning best practices and experience with Learning Management Systems will enable you to create effective training programs that drive proficiency and adoption.

What You Will Do

  • Own and continuously improve clinician and employee onboarding and enablement programs
  • Design, facilitate, and iterate on high-quality virtual and blended learning experiences
  • Develop, maintain, and update training content and resources
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for clinical systems and internal tools
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs and co-create training solutions
  • Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support the operational and administrative aspects of Learning & Development
  • Manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders independently
  • Exercise sound judgment, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced environment

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in learning & development, training, enablement, or a related role
  • Proven experience designing, facilitating, and iterating on live, virtual, or blended learning experiences
  • Strong content development skills, with experience creating and maintaining practical training resources
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with adult learning best practices and instructional design
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel and data analysis
  • Familiarity with mental health and healthcare industry trends
  • Knowledge of clinical systems and electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Certification in instructional design or a related field
