Job Description

About the Role

The Learning & Development Head will play a critical role in designing, developing, and executing a comprehensive learning strategy for PM Consulting's technical operations teams. This includes translating complex technical workflows into clear, practical, and measurable learning programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of instructional design principles and a proven track record of developing scalable training initiatives.

As a key member of the team, the Learning & Development Head will work closely with subject matter experts, Operations Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current operational needs. The role will also involve staying updated on emerging tools, methodologies, and technical skills relevant to technology-driven operational environments.

The Learning & Development Head will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for building a culture of continuous learning, workforce readiness, and operational excellence within the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement a comprehensive learning and development framework aligned with business goals, operational scalability, and workforce capability requirements
  • Develop operator readiness scorecards and metrics to assess competency across different skill levels
  • Conduct training needs analysis in partnership with key stakeholders to identify knowledge or performance gaps
  • Create role-specific and modular learning pathways that support progression from foundational skills to advanced operational capability
  • Lead capability-building initiatives across teleoperators and support teams, ensuring effective training on data annotation, robotic teleoperations, technical workflows, and process adherence
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers and technical subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current operational needs
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives by analyzing operator performance, productivity, accuracy, process adherence, and operational outcomes after training
  • Oversee instructional design and content development by converting SOPs, workflows, data annotation processes, and technical inputs into clear, digestible learning content
  • Apply instructional design best practices such as modular learning, microlearning, blended learning, simulations, and structured learning pathways
  • Stay updated on emerging tools, methodologies, and technical skills relevant to technology-driven operational environments

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in instructional design and learning development, preferably in a technical operations environment
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning technologies
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and team members
  • Experience with learning management systems, authoring tools, and other learning technologies
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment

  • Experience with data annotation, robotic teleoperations, and technical workflows
  • Knowledge of emerging tools and methodologies in technology-driven operational environments
  • Certification in instructional design, learning development, or a related field
