Job Description

About the Role

As a Learning Project Manager at Learnlight, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's mission to put people first in the EdTech industry. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing the development and implementation of digital learning projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be working closely with the leadership team to develop and implement project plans, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

The Learning Project Manager role is a key position within the company, and as such, you will be expected to contribute to the development of the company's project management methodology and best practices. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior team members, sharing your expertise and experience to help them grow and develop in their roles.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the development and implementation of digital learning projects from conception to delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, developers, and subject matter experts
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing expertise and experience to help them grow and develop in their roles
  • Contribute to the development of the company's project management methodology and best practices
  • Analyze project metrics and feedback, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the EdTech industry
  • Strong background in managing digital learning projects, including experience with instructional design, development, and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all projects are delivered to the required quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time

Nice to Have

  • Experience with learning management systems, including Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora Inspire
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles
  • Experience with project management certifications, including PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master
