You will also be expected to maintain thorough documentation and ensure timely processing of claims, all while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

What You Will Do
- Review and evaluate disability and leave claims to determine eligibility and benefit entitlement
- Analyze medical documentation and gather required information from claimants and providers
- Communicate claim decisions and updates clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of claims
- Collaborate with internal partners to coordinate disability and leave outcomes
- Evaluate eligibility for short-term disability, state disability insurance, and related leave claims such as FMLA
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, employers, and providers
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to leave and disability claims
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
What We Are Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in office administration or customer service
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage detailed information accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with leave, benefits, or disability claim management
- Experience working with medical or claims documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
Nice to Have
- Experience with claims management software or other relevant technologies
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to leave and disability claims
- Certification in a related field, such as claims adjustment or benefits administration
