As a skilled leave management professional, you will be responsible for coordinating leave of absence requests, disability programs, and life insurance administration. Your daily responsibilities will include managing individual role accommodations, facilitating return-to-work arrangements, and ensuring seamless execution of high-level policy and regulatory protocols.

What You Will Do
- Manage the full spectrum of leave of absence requests, including FMLA, state/local, military, parental, and ADA
- Advise employees and management on eligibility, compliance, and coverage
- Oversee life insurance processes, including managing Evidence of Insurability (EOI) events, auditing beneficiary/coverage data, and ensuring accurate transmissions to carriers
- Provide hands-on support, including correspondence, tracking, and HRIS/vendor system updates
- Handle escalation cases and support projects focused on LOA and Life Insurance technology
- Provide input and consultation to the business on accommodation and restriction suggestions received from the Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
- Execute critical bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, including Life Insurance census reconciliations, PTO/FTO reporting, and COBRA/Benefits termination audits related to leave events
- Support and manage the administration of return-to-work processes, ensuring smooth transitions for both employees and management
- Support corrective action or termination warnings for failures to interact properly under company policies
- Lead and support various leave/benefit-related projects, including Workday enhancements, process documentation, and the rollout of new time-off programs
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of U.S. leave management experience, including advanced knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state/local regulations
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Workday experience, specifically managing Leave of Absence (LOA) and Benefits/Life Insurance modules
- Proficiency in Google Suite, with advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required
- Proven ability to clean and analyze large datasets to identify trends, ensure data integrity, and reconcile discrepancies
- Superior interpersonal and consulting skills, with the ability to facilitate tough conversations and handle sensitive claims
- Experience with project management, including leading and supporting various leave/benefit-related projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools, such as Gemini, to enhance data analysis and audit efficiency
- Knowledge of other HR systems and software, including HRIS and benefits administration platforms
- Certification in leave management, such as CEBS or CLMS
- Experience working in a remote environment, with a ability to self-motivate and work independently
