About the Role

We are seeking a highly resourceful and ambitious Legal Operations Associate to join our lean, fast-paced legal team. This role requires a product-focused mindset, where the successful candidate will automate and scale processes, rather than just follow them.

Responsibilities

  • Own Entity Compliance: Manage corporate entities in 'Good Standing' across the US and Canada.
  • Protect the Brand: Monitor intellectual property presence and address infringements.
  • Investigate & Educate: Act as the first line of defense for complex consumer escalations, investigating root causes and implementing compliance training initiatives.
  • Drive Product & Process Improvements: Review product and process for compliance, partnering with Engineering and Product teams to implement systemic improvements.
  • Run Tight Audits: Lead compliance audits, proactively monitoring key risk areas to ensure practices exceed baseline regulatory standards.
  • Automate Everything: Utilize AI and low-code tools to turn manual legal chores into scalable workflows.

Requirements

  • Academic Excellence: A Bachelor's degree from an academically rigorous program with demonstrated high performance.
  • Driver Mindset: A proven track record of extreme resourcefulness.
