About the Role

The Legal Technology Solutions Specialist role is a critical component of Digital Data Foundation's mission to harness the power of technology in the legal sector. As a subject matter expert and product owner, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption of LegalTech solutions and identifying new business opportunities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a mix of strategic planning, technical implementation, and stakeholder management.

The role is highly consultative and strategic, requiring you to work closely with partners, fee earners, and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. What You Will Do

  • Elicit requirements for new LegalTech solutions and enhancements to existing ones, ensuring that they meet the needs of stakeholders and align with the company's overall strategy.
  • Act as a technical lead during the design, build, and delivery phases of key internal and client-facing solutions and managed services.
  • Define the product/solution roadmap, including identifying future integration opportunities and ensuring that solutions are scalable and sustainable.
  • Manage upgrades and system testing with suppliers, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Serve as a Legal Technology ambassador and advisor, providing guidance on the best use and configuration of systems to meet challenges and provide solutions.
  • Transition new technologies into operational support, defining support and system maintenance processes and practices, and developing best practice materials.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of client pitches, leveraging your technical expertise to showcase the value proposition of Digital Data Foundation's LegalTech solutions.
  • Conduct legal technology market analysis and provide insights on market trends and product evolution, helping to inform the company's strategic decisions.
  • Lead pre-project evaluations, effort estimations, and costings for key automation projects, ensuring that initiatives are well-planned and executed.
  • Plan, design, build, and test complex automated documents and workflows, leveraging your technical skills to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Create, support, and maintain complex deal management and collaboration solutions, including configuring online data structures and data visualizations.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Law or Computer Science graduate with 4-6 years of progressive experience in a LegalTech support position or professional services with solution design and digital transformation.
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies quickly and develop new skills, with a strong foundation in Excel and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience of supporting or using document automation and workflow automation technologies, such as Avvoka and Contract Express.
  • Experience of leading or coordinating technical implementation projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience of deal/transaction management tools, such as HighQ Collaborate and Legatics, and data extraction tools, such as Kira and RAVN.
  • Project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or Agile, is desirable but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
