You will also be required to return to the depot to unload the day's incoming mail and packages for later delivery. What You Will Do

  • Sort and prepare mail and packages for delivery
  • Load and drive a postal vehicle
  • Deliver mail and packages to customers on your route
  • Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers on your route
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Lift and carry mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient delivery of mail and packages
  • Report any issues or concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve your skills and knowledge

What We Are Looking For

  • A valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years
  • The physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a variety of customers
  • Ability to work in all types of weather
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of digital tools and technology
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
