Job Description

## About the Role As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Light Counseling, you will provide psychological services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and implementing treatment plans to address a range of mental health issues. You will be part of an integrated team of administrative and clinical peers who provide professional and confidential counseling services with a distinctively Christian approach. Your role will involve collaboration with other healthcare professionals, conducting research, and sometimes engaging in teaching and supervisory responsibilities.

## What You Will Do - Conduct psychological assessments using a variety of tools and techniques, such as interviews, questionnaires, and tests - Diagnose mental health disorders according to established criteria, such as the DSM-5 - Develop comprehensive case formulations based on assessment data - Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices - Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' needs - Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care - Provide consultation services to schools, businesses, or other organizations as needed - Conduct or contribute to clinical research to advance the field of psychology - Stay updated with the latest developments in psychological research and practice

## What We Are Looking For - A valid license to practice as a clinical psychologist in the United States - A doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of human psychology and mental health issues - Experience with assessment and diagnosis tools, such as the DSM-5 - Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment plans - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
