About the Role
The Licensed Health & Life Insurance Financial Professional position at AmeriLife involves working closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and providing personalized recommendations. This role is pivotal in the company's mission to educate clients on the wide selection of local insurance plan options available. As part of the Informed Choice Insurance Agency team, you will be supported by Client Service Representatives to manage and sell insurance products to your clients.Day-to-day, you will engage with clients, analyze their needs, and offer tailored insurance solutions. This involves a deep understanding of the insurance market, including Medicare Plans, ACA, STM, and other products. Your expertise will guide clients in making informed decisions about their insurance coverage, ensuring they receive the best possible care and financial protection.
The position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the option for hybrid or on-site arrangements in Fort Myers, FL. This flexibility, combined with the company's commitment to work-life balance, as evidenced by half-day Fridays from January through September, makes for a compelling work environment.
What You Will Do
- Educate clients on various insurance products, including Medicare Plans, ACA, STM, and more
- Conduct needs analysis to provide personalized insurance recommendations
- Manage and sell insurance products, with the support of Client Service Representatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the insurance industry
- Utilize digital skills to navigate and manage client data and insurance products efficiently
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills in insurance and financial planning
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and contribute to the company's growth
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention
What We Are Looking For
- State license in health and life insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent; a BA in finance, business, economics, or a related field is a plus
- Spanish speaking is a preferred skill
- Experience in sales or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in digital tools and software relevant to the insurance industry
- Understanding of insurance products and the ability to explain them clearly to clients
