About the Role
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at OptiMindHealth, you will be part of a clinician-founded and led organization dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working with patients, either remotely or onsite, to address their mental health needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians who prioritize creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance, and determination.The role entails a deep understanding of mental health care and the ability to provide excellent care to patients. You will be supported by a team of administrative professionals who handle non-clinical tasks, allowing you to focus on your patients. What You Will Do
- Provide high-quality mental health care services to patients, either remotely or onsite
- Work with patients to address their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Utilize Excel and other tools to manage patient data and track progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in clinical rounds and supervision to ensure best practices and continued growth
- Develop and maintain a patient caseload, ensuring timely and effective care
- Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mental health care
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, fostering a culture of compassion and empathy
What We Are Looking For
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification
- Experience working in mental health care, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Excel and other software applications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
