About the Role
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at OptiMindHealth, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in need. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians who share a passion for improving access to mental health care.The role is highly flexible, with options for full-time or part-time work, as well as the ability to work from home or in one of our physical offices. Our administrative support team will handle all non-clinical tasks, allowing you to focus on what matters most - providing excellent care to your patients.

What You Will Do
- Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in regular supervision and training sessions
- Develop and lead groups and workshops on mental health topics
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
What We Are Looking For
- Master's degree in Counseling or related field
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Excel and electronic medical records
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Nice to Have
- Experience with telehealth platforms
- Certification in a specialized area of counseling (e.g. CBT, DBT)
- Experience working with specific patient populations (e.g. children, adolescents)
- Knowledge of mental health laws and regulations
