About the Role
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of physicians or Registered Nurses. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate patient records. What You Will Do
- Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians or RNs
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-up care as needed
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and insurance verification
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Perform basic triage to assess patient needs and escalate when necessary
- Support safe and efficient patient care with knowledge of GLP1s and peptides
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working with patients or in a medical practice setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling patient interactions over the phone
- Ability to manage patient communications through the portal, addressing medication-related concerns
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a remote or virtual healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) or CPR
- Experience with telemedicine platforms and remote patient monitoring
