Job Description

About the Role

As a Lifecycle Marketing Contractor at Anatta Design, you will play a pivotal role in owning and optimizing the full customer journey for the company's Shopify-based e-commerce business. Your expertise in performance marketing, CRM, and lifecycle strategy will be crucial in driving efficient growth and increasing customer lifetime value. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy contract role that requires the ability to move quickly, build and ship flows independently, and turn data into action without heavy oversight.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the intersection of performance marketing, CRM, and lifecycle strategy, with a focus on driving efficient growth and increasing customer lifetime value within the Shopify ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing and executing campaigns across key channels, including Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads Manager, and building and testing conversion-focused funnels tied to Shopify product and collection pages.

What You Will Do

  • Own and optimize paid acquisition strategy across key channels, including Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads Manager
  • Manage and execute campaigns within Meta Ads Manager, with a primary focus on catalog setup and dynamic product ads
  • Build and test conversion-focused funnels tied to Shopify product and collection pages
  • Coordinate with Shopify product feeds, dynamic product ads, and catalog setup
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize toward CPA/CAC efficiency, conversion rate, and customer quality
  • Partner with internal teams on landing pages, product pages, and offers, including Shopify theme edits and app-based landing builders
  • Identify opportunities to scale high-performing products, audiences, and channels
  • Own lifecycle strategy across email and SMS channels for the Shopify store
  • Build, manage, and optimize flows in Klaviyo, including deep integration with Shopify customer, order, and product events
  • Develop and refine core e-commerce lifecycle flows, including welcome/onboarding, abandoned cart/checkout, post-purchase, replenishment/subscription reorder reminders, winback/lapsed-customer re-engagement, and VIP/loyalty tier flows

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6+ years of experience in lifecycle, growth, or performance marketing for e-commerce brands
  • Direct, hands-on experience operating Shopify stores, including navigating the admin, working with collections, discounts, customer segments, and basic theme/checkout settings
  • Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, including catalog/DPA setup, and Google Ads Manager, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
  • Proven track record managing both acquisition campaigns and retention/lifecycle programs for DTC e-commerce brands
  • Experience building segmentation strategies and automated flows that drive measurable CLTV gains
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to work with cohort data, attribution nuance, and funnel diagnostics
  • Self-directed and able to operate as an embedded contractor, scoping work, prioritizing, and shipping

Nice to Have

  • Experience with subscription apps on Shopify, such as Recharge, Skio, Stay, or Loop
  • Experience with SMS platforms beyond Klaviyo, such as Postscript or Attentive
  • Familiarity with reviews/UGC tools, such as Yotpo, Okendo, or Junip, loyalty tools, such as Smile or LoyaltyLion, and CRO tools, such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or Polar Analytics
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks and post-iOS attribution approaches
  • Light Liquid/HTML/Shopify skills

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Opportunity to work with a cutting-edge e-commerce brand
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment
  • Flexible working hours and remote work arrangements
  • Access to the latest tools and technologies, including GA4, Adjust, and Klaviyo
  • Professional development opportunities and support for ongoing learning and growth
  • Recognition and reward for outstanding performance and contributions
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement planning
  • Generous paid time off and holidays
  • Remote stipend and support for home office setup

How to Stand Out

  • Tip: Make sure to highlight your experience with performance marketing tools, such as Google Ads and Meta Ads, and your ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize toward key metrics.
  • Be prepared to provide specific examples of your experience with lifecycle marketing and retention strategies, including email and SMS campaigns.
  • Show a strong understanding of the intersection of performance marketing, CRM, and lifecycle strategy, and how you can drive efficient growth and increase customer lifetime value within the Shopify ecosystem.
  • When applying, be sure to include a link to your portfolio or examples of your work, and be prepared to discuss your experience and approach in detail.
  • Research the company and the role thoroughly, and be prepared to ask informed questions during the interview process.
  • Don't be afraid to negotiate salary and benefits – it's a common practice in the industry, and employers expect it.
  • Red flag: If the company is not willing to provide clear information about the role, the team, or the compensation package, it may be a sign of a lack of transparency or poor communication.
