Job Description

About the Role

The Lifecycle Specialist plays a crucial role in managing time and attendance activities for external employees and clients. This individual contributor position requires a strong emphasis on legal compliance, delivering exceptional employee experiences, and maintaining efficient processes. As part of the Time and Attendance team, the specialist will report to the Time and Attendance Manager.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include serving as an expert on time and attendance matters, providing comprehensive HR support, and ensuring accurate and efficient management of time and attendance activities. The specialist will work closely with the team to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, consistently promoting best practices.

In this role, the specialist will have the opportunity to work with a global team, collaborating asynchronously on various tools and adapting to new and evolving systems. The ability to work independently and cohesively in a fast-paced environment is essential, as well as the willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as an expert on time and attendance matters
  • Provide comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance
  • Strong background in HR and operations
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level
  • Additional languages considered a plus
  • Ability to confidently lead difficult conversations to a positive outcome
  • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills
  • Strong aptitude and enthusiasm for innovating and optimizing processes
  • Efficiency in operations with an awareness of the importance of thorough documentation and data integrity
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to successfully collaborate asynchronously on various tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience with communication, documentation, and project management tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite
  • Foundational understanding of AI and its practical applications in operations and automation
  • Familiarity with automation and AI capabilities
