About the Role

The Line Manager, Site Contracts Management - FSP role at Precision Medicine Group is a key position that oversees the management of site contracts and supports business development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of contract and budget associates, allocating resources, and negotiating contracts with clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the clinical research industry, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

As a Line Manager, you will be the single point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring that all site contracting matters are handled efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for reporting and managing contract metrics, including productivity and compliance with company policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and oversee the site contracts management team, including line management of contract and budget associates
  • Support business development initiatives, including negotiating contracts and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Allocate resources for new business and forecast current and expected work
  • Participate in discussions on resource needs and plan for the future of the site contracts function
  • Report and manage contract metrics, including productivity and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to applicable company and sponsor policies, procedures, and contracting standards
  • Escalate and resolve complex issues with internal stakeholders, including legal and finance teams
  • Support the review, drafting, and negotiation of agreements, including confidentiality agreements and clinical study agreements
  • Oversee the execution of agreements at the portfolio level
  • Recognize areas for process improvement and take corrective action
  • Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures to affect the timely execution of contracts and business deliverables
  • Represent the organization as a subject matter expert in internal and external meetings, including client meetings

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent experience, ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline
  • At least 6 years of experience in site contracts departments in clinical research organizations (CROs) and functional service provider (FSP) models
  • Experience in people management and team leadership
  • Strong understanding of the clinical research industry and applicable regulations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and manage complex relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with contract management systems and software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
  • Knowledge of clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture systems
  • Certification in contract management or a related field
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations
