As a Lithuanian Online Language Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their language goals, whether for personal or professional reasons.

The role entails teaching Lithuanian to a student based in Spain, with the goal of enabling them to communicate with their family in Lithuania. The student is a beginner, and the lessons will be conducted online. You will be required to create engaging lesson plans, tailor your teaching to the student's needs, and provide regular feedback on their progress.

You will be part of a global team of freelance teachers, working together to provide high-quality language training to clients worldwide. Your expertise and passion for teaching will be essential in delivering exceptional results and ensuring student satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Teach Lithuanian to a beginner student online, focusing on general language skills
  • Develop and implement customized lesson plans to meet the student's needs and goals
  • Conduct one-to-one lessons, ensuring effective communication and engagement
  • Provide regular feedback and progress reports to the student and Language Trainers
  • Utilize digital tools and platforms to facilitate online lessons and student interaction
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the student's learning style and preferences
  • Collaborate with Language Trainers' team to ensure consistent high-quality training
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in language teaching methodologies and technologies
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, student progress, and feedback

What We Are Looking For

  • Native Lithuanian speaker or equivalent proficiency
  • Relevant teaching qualification or experience in language teaching, translation, or interpretation
  • Proven experience in teaching Lithuanian or another language
  • Ability to teach through Spanish, as the student's primary language is Spanish
  • Strong understanding of language learning principles and adult education methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Reliable internet connection and necessary digital tools for online teaching
  • Ability to commit to a regular teaching schedule, including evenings and weekends
