About the Role

The Litigation Associate role at CareerMentors is a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to join a team dedicated to defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related actions. This position requires a deep understanding of litigation processes, including trial and arbitration preparation, motion practice, and mediation. Day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing for trials and arbitrations, conducting research, and drafting legal documents. What You Will Do

  • Prepare for trials and arbitrations by conducting research, gathering evidence, and drafting legal documents

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members

  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of litigation experience
  • Strong academic credentials and a law degree from an accredited institution
  • Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with trial and arbitration preparation, motion practice, and mediation
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze data
  • California law license and local residency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
