About the Role
Polly English is seeking experienced online ESL teachers to join its team of educators. As an online English teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, interactive classes to students aged 3-18 across Asia. With a focus on enhancing English proficiency, you will utilize Polly English's self-developed online classrooms and courseware inspired by Oxford Thinkers.The role entails working closely with students to understand their needs and develop customized lesson plans. You will be part of a team of dedicated educators committed to providing exceptional learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker with a Bachelor's degree, teaching certification, and over a year of teaching experience.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and help them achieve their English language goals. Your expertise and passion for teaching will be essential in creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
What You Will Do
- Deliver interactive English lessons to students aged 3-18 using Polly English's online classrooms and courseware
- Develop customized lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
- Utilize Oxford Thinkers-inspired courseware to enhance English proficiency
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Manage online classrooms and ensure a stable internet connection
- Participate in training and professional development to improve teaching skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
- Provide feedback and assessments to students and parents
- Utilize Excel to track student progress and analyze data
What We Are Looking For
- Native English speaker from the USA or Canada
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field
- Teaching certification or qualification certificate issued by local authorities
- ESL certification
- Over 1 year of teaching experience in local or international schools
- Strong understanding of English language and grammar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced online environment
- Proficiency in using digital tools and software, including Polly English's online classroom platform
