Polly English is seeking experienced online ESL teachers to join its team, providing one-on-one English lessons to students across Asia. What You Will Do
- Deliver one-on-one online English lessons to students aged 3 to 18, adapting your teaching style to meet the needs of each student
- Prepare and review lesson plans, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and tailored to the student's level and goals
- Utilize Polly English's interactive courseware and self-developed online classrooms to create an immersive learning experience
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance on areas for improvement
- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills and stay updated on best practices
- Manage your schedule, ensuring you meet the required minimum teaching hours during peak times
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the Polly English team regarding student progress, schedules, and any concerns
- Stay organized and manage your time efficiently to meet the demands of online teaching
What We Are Looking For
- Native English speaker from the USA or Canada
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any field
- Teaching or teacher qualification certificate issued by local authorities
- ESL certificate (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA)
- Over 1 year of teaching experience in local or international schools
- Experience with online teaching platforms and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Familiarity with Excel for basic data management and analysis
