What You Will Do

• Deliver one-on-one online English lessons to students aged 3 to 18, adapting your teaching style to meet the needs of each student
• Prepare and review lesson plans, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and tailored to the student's level and goals
• Utilize Polly English's interactive courseware and self-developed online classrooms to create an immersive learning experience
• Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance on areas for improvement
• Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills and stay updated on best practices
• Manage your schedule, ensuring you meet the required minimum teaching hours during peak times
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the Polly English team regarding student progress, schedules, and any concerns
• Stay organized and manage your time efficiently to meet the demands of online teaching

What We Are Looking For

• Native English speaker from the USA or Canada
• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field
• Teaching or teacher qualification certificate issued by local authorities
• ESL certificate (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA)
• Over 1 year of teaching experience in local or international schools
• Experience with online teaching platforms and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Familiarity with Excel for basic data management and analysis

• Experience with curriculum development and implementation
• Knowledge of Asian cultures and educational systems
• Familiarity with Oxford Thinkers courseware or similar educational resources
