Job Description

About the Role

The M&A Specialist position at Veralto is a pivotal role that combines talent strategy with the dynamic landscape of mergers and acquisitions. As part of the Veralto TalentCOE team, this specialist will be at the forefront of shaping the company's growth and evolution, working closely with Corporate Development and senior HR leadership. The role involves supporting due diligence and driving early integration planning across acquisitions, minority investments, and divestitures, leveraging research, data insights, and collaboration with external vendors.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include leading end-to-end HR M&A planning and execution, from due diligence through integration, as well as designing and continuously improving HR M&A standard work. The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant global network with 14 operating companies and 17,000 associates, offering a unique culture and work environment where purpose meets possibility.

What You Will Do

  • Lead end-to-end HR M&A planning and execution, from due diligence through integration, leveraging research, data insights, and collaboration with external vendors.
  • Design and continuously improve HR M&A standard work, incorporating external best practices and aligning with Veralto Enterprise System (VES) principles and Corporate Development guidance.
  • Conduct and lead critical data-driven analyses during diligence to inform deal strategy.
  • Identify cost drivers and synergy opportunities that impact the deal’s financial model.
  • Assess employee equity structures and deal proceeds to evaluate retention risks and inform mitigation strategies.
  • Support headcount planning, including growth projections and synergy targets.
  • Perform additional quantitative analyses to support HR-related deal decisions.
  • Partner closely with Total Rewards to assess, quantify, and mitigate compensation and benefits risks.
  • Ensure all material HR-related risks, costs, and synergies are captured and documented.
  • Collaborate with Labor & Employment (L&E) to identify key employment risks and align on mitigation strategies.
