Job Description
About the Role
The Majors Account Executive role at Wiz is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of cloud security solutions and the ability to drive sales growth. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, building relationships with top security leaders, and demonstrating the value of Wiz's cloud security platform. You will work closely with the Regional Director of South Korea and other cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include developing and executing account plans, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, and using this knowledge to inform your sales strategy.
As a remote role, you will be expected to work independently and manage your time effectively, while also collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders in different time zones.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute strategic account plans targeting major organizations
- Demonstrate an intimate understanding of Wiz Cloud Security Solutions and their value to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level security executives and technical teams
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations
- Negotiate and close deals
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales team and other stakeholders
- Continuously update and refine your sales strategy based on industry trends and customer feedback
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS/Security sales, selling to major accounts
- Proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar enterprise deals
- Hyper-growth start-up experience
- Good standing relationships with previous sales operation teams
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally to drive customer outcomes and revenue growth
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with board-level stakeholders
- A consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers
- Deep expertise in pipeline generation, deal progression, and strategic account management
- Strong understanding of cloud security and SaaS sales
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Google Cloud or other cloud security platforms
- Knowledge of cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Certification in cloud security or a related field
