About the Role
The Manager, Brand Design at Later is a critical role that will lead the visual storytelling and design execution across the company's marketing initiatives. This position will drive brand recognition and engagement through innovative design solutions, owning the visual identity of key marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will establish creative standards that resonate with Later's enterprise B2C brand and agency audiences.As a key member of the design team, the Manager, Brand Design will report to the Executive Creative Director and will be responsible for mentoring design teams and delivering high-impact visual campaigns in the social media and influencer marketing space. The ideal candidate will have a strategic and creative mindset, with proven experience in driving brand recognition and engagement through design.
The Manager, Brand Design will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to evolve Later's visual brand identity and design systems. This role requires a deep understanding of design trends, emerging technologies, and platform-specific best practices.
What You Will Do
- Oversee art direction and visual execution for major product launches and multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Develop creative concepts and visual strategies that align with business objectives and brand positioning
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to evolve Later's visual brand identity and design systems
- Present creative concepts and articulate rationale to executive stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining creative vision
- Create compelling visual assets for websites and landing pages, email campaigns, social media content, events and webinars, sales enablement, and other marketing collateral
- Develop templates and design systems that enable scalable, consistent creative production
- Ensure all creative output meets Later's brand standards and delivers exceptional user experience
- Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and platform-specific best practices
- Lead and manage a team of brand designers, providing mentorship, professional development, and career growth opportunities
- Establish high-quality standards for design execution, systems development, presenting and reviewing deliverables, and deadline-driven workflows
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in brand design, with a focus on visual storytelling and design execution
- Proven experience mentoring design teams and delivering high-impact visual campaigns in the social media and influencer marketing space
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
- Expertise in design trends, emerging technologies, and platform-specific best practices
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative vision and rationale to executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of brand positioning and business objectives, with the ability to develop creative concepts that align with these goals

- Experience with data analysis and performance metrics, with the ability to inform design decisions with data-driven insights
