## About the Role The Manager, Customer Support Engineering role is a pivotal position at Fivetran, focused on leading the Customer Solutions Engineering team to deliver high-quality technical support to enterprise customers across the APJ regions. This role entails strategic planning, team development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive product adoption. ## What You Will Do - Lead and develop a team of Customer Solutions Engineers across the APJ regions to ensure high-quality technical support for enterprise customers.

  • Strategize and implement support processes to enhance support operations, facilitating smooth and efficient issue resolution.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within your team, ensuring they are equipped to support the evolving landscape of dbt Cloud and the modern data stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction, drive product adoption, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Advocate for customers within the organization, ensuring their needs and feedback influence product development and innovation.
  • Lead by example, offering hands-on support and guidance to both customers and team members, driving towards excellence in every interaction.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and efficient issue resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve support strategies and customer outcomes.
## What We Are Looking For - Extensive experience in technical support or engineering, preferably with enterprise-level customers in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving customer satisfaction through effective support strategies.
  • Strong technical expertise, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot complex data integration issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies, such as dbt Cloud, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, is a plus.
## Nice to Have - Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
  • Familiarity with data engineering principles and practices.
