About the Role

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead its Product Analytics team, driving strategies and tactics that achieve the organization's vision of sharing knowledge globally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of data scientists to deliver timely and accurate quantitative data and insights.
  • Foster a collaborative culture, mentoring team members in critical thinking, data storytelling, and technical skills.
  • Partner with Experiment Platform & Data Engineering teams to build accessible data products.

Requirements

Candidates must be located within UTC+1 to UTC-8 time zones, available for meetings between 14:00 and 22:00 UTC, and able to travel up to 4 times per year.
