About the Role
The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead the Product Analytics team, reporting to the Senior Director of Research and Decision Science. The successful candidate will lead a team of data scientists to produce and share actionable insights that inform decision-making within the Foundation and in Wikimedia communities.Responsibilities
- Manage a team of data scientists to deliver timely and accurate quantitative data and insights
- Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by creating shared data processes and procedures
- Support the design of data products and tools that make critical data more accessible to stakeholders
- Partner with product teams, especially product managers, and colleagues across the Wikimedia movement
Requirements
- Experience with data science tools and technologies, including Adjust and Excel
- Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to nurture a collaborative and inclusive culture
