About the Role

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Manager, Data Science to lead the Product Analytics team. This role involves leading a team of data scientists to produce and share actionable data insights that inform decision-making within the Foundation and in Wikimedia communities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of data scientists to deliver timely and accurate quantitative data and insights
  • Ensure the design of data products and tools that make critical data accessible to stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Partner with product teams, especially product managers, and colleagues across the Wikimedia movement

Requirements

Candidates must be located within the UTC+1 to UTC-8 time zones and available for critical meetings and synchronous work between 14:00 and 22:00 UTC.
