Job Description

About the Role

The Manager of Digital Assurance and Transparency will play a key role in providing independent and objective assessments of clients' digital environments, including processes, controls, cyber security measures, and associated governance. This role entails working closely with clients to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing the credibility and reliability of their digital information. As a leader in this field, you will be responsible for coaching and developing team members, leveraging their unique strengths to deliver high-quality services to clients.

The digital assurance team at PwC focuses on providing assurance services over clients' digital environments, including processes and controls, cyber security measures, data and AI systems, and their associated governance. This team works closely with clients to help them build trust in their technology and comply with relevant regulations.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same
  • Effectively mentor others and use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members
  • Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders
  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements
  • Offer coaching to team members, tailored to their individual experiences
  • Lead client meetings, mostly related to the progress and potential issues and how those would be remediated
  • Perform final review of the audit controls in Aura and document any identified findings

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong understanding of digital assurance and risk management principles
  • Experience in managing and delivering digital assurance projects
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with technologies such as Cloud-computing, Oracle, SAP, Oracle Database, web development tools, virtualization, UNIX, Linux, and security technologies
  • Understanding of financial reporting and information technology risks, processes, and controls

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing virtual teams and working in a remote environment
  • Knowledge of data and AI systems, and their associated governance
  • Familiarity with PwC's tax and audit guidance
  • Certification in digital assurance or a related field
