About the Role
The Manager, Enterprise Security at Abridge is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of the company's enterprise security program. This includes securing identities, endpoints, SaaS applications, and corporate infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a seasoned security professional with a builder's mindset and excellent communication skills, able to influence security culture across the organization. As a key member of the Abridge team, the Enterprise Security Manager will work closely with IT, Legal, Compliance, and People teams to deliver security that scales alongside rapid growth. This is a greenfield opportunity to architect the way forward for Enterprise Security at Abridge, ensuring that security measures empower employees to do their best work while reducing risk. Abridge is a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. The company has offices in San Francisco, New York, and Pittsburgh, but this role is remote, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere in the United States.What You Will Do
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Abridge's enterprise security program
- Build and lead a high-performing team of enterprise security engineers
- Architect identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, authentication protocols, access lifecycle management, and identity governance
- Secure the endpoint fleet, including endpoint detection and response, device management, and endpoint compliance
- Drive SaaS and third-party security, including SaaS security posture management, shadow IT discovery, vendor security assessments, and third-party risk management
- Automate and scale security operations, including access reviews, onboarding/offboarding workflows, policy enforcement, and security operations
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, People, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver security that scales alongside rapid growth
- Lead enterprise AI security, defining and executing Abridge's strategy for securing corporate AI adoption end-to-end
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise security, with a focus on identity and access management, endpoint protection, and corporate security architecture
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing security teams
- Strong technical skills, including experience with SSO, MFA, authentication protocols, and identity governance
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally with IT, People, Legal, and Compliance teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to automate and scale security operations
- Experience with cloud and SaaS environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations, including HIPAA and SOC 2
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-powered security solutions
- Familiarity with DevOps and agile development methodologies
- Certification in security, such as CISSP or CISM
