About the Role

The Manager, Global Chapter Programs is a critical role at Project Management Institute, responsible for leading the ongoing development, enablement, and growth of global chapter programs. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with regional teams and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a unified approach to programs and services, driving excellent experiences for chapter member communities.

The role is part of a global team, with opportunities to work with diverse markets and channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in a global business environment, with a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement a unified approach to global chapter programs and services
  • Partner with Regional Head of Communities (HOCs) to ensure consistent execution across regions
  • Create and monitor annual work plans and budgets, meeting agreed-upon targets
  • Balance consistency and localization for different market and channel needs
  • Communicate with one voice, ensuring a consistent message across all channels
  • Lead teams and collaborate with multi-discipline internal and external team members
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, generating organization growth
  • Design and deliver executive presentations, showcasing program successes and areas for improvement
  • Create and apply performance metrics, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement
  • Work with customers, volunteer leaders, and external organizations from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Travel up to 5% of the time

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
  • CAE (Certified Association Executive) certification desirable
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a global business environment
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Strong understanding of market development and integration of market planning across the enterprise
  • Experience in creating and monitoring annual work plans and budgets
  • Team leadership experience, preferably on a global basis
  • Positive track record of business results and proven ability to develop long-term relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in nonprofit management
  • Experience in a business-to-consumer (B2C) environment
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
  • Experience working with global teams and stakeholders
