About the Role

At Habitat Health, the Manager of Healthcare Data Analytics plays a pivotal role in driving the organization's mission to provide personalized, coordinated clinical and social care to older adults. This role entails leading the development and implementation of data analytics strategies to inform care decisions, improve patient outcomes, and optimize operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare data analysis, with a keen understanding of the complexities of the healthcare system and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Manager of Healthcare Data Analytics will work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and business development teams, to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions. What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to inform care decisions and improve patient outcomes
  • Lead a team of analysts to design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions
  • Work with external partners to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare data analytics
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support analytics initiatives
  • Design and implement data quality and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
  • Develop and manage budgets for analytics initiatives and ensure effective resource allocation
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in healthcare data analytics and make recommendations for adoption
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance analytics capabilities across the organization

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data modeling
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, with proven ability to manage and motivate a team of analysts
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data systems, including electronic health records and claims data
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights and trends
  • Experience with data governance and quality control processes
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
