About the Role

The Manager of Sales, PerfectScale, North America, will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives in North America, with a focus on direct sales motion for the PerfectScale product line. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the tech industry, as well as the ability to drive business growth and innovation. The successful candidate will be a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of success in managing high-performing teams.

The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer acquisition. The Manager of Sales will also be responsible for providing coaching, guidance, and support to their team members, to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed in their roles.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition
  • Lead a team of Account Executives in North America, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to develop and execute sales plans
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the PerfectScale product line, including its features, benefits, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and input on product development and roadmap
  • Develop and deliver sales enablement materials, including sales sheets, case studies, and presentations
  • Manage sales forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure seamless handoffs and customer satisfaction

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a focus on cloud-based technologies
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, including cloud computing, Kubernetes, and GenAI
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies, including CRM and sales automation platforms
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with a strong focus on self-motivation and discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance data and identify areas for improvement
  • Experience with cloud-based sales platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PerfectScale or similar Kubernetes optimization and management solutions
  • Certification in sales leadership or cloud computing, such as AWS or Google Cloud certification
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance, including data protection and privacy regulations
