Job Description

About the Role

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a seasoned Manager, Site Contracts Management to join its European team. This role, which can be performed fully remotely from Serbia, involves working closely with various stakeholders including Study Start Up, Clinical Operations, legal, HR, and finance teams. The goal is to ensure the Site Contracts team has all the necessary tools to deliver site contracts efficiently and align with defined study timelines.

The successful candidate will play a key role in negotiations, deal with key clients, and participate in corporate strategic initiatives such as the Oncology Site Network and Rapid Start-up. This position involves line managing a team of contract and budget associates, allocating resources for new business, and forecasting and planning current and expected work.

What You Will Do

  • Review, update, and establish processes and procedures for overall site contract management at the regional level.
  • Line manage a team of contract and budget associates.
  • Allocate resources for new business in the organization.
  • Participate in discussions on resource needs and plan for the future of the site contract structure.
  • Report and manage contract metrics, including productivity of the site contract function.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Escalate and resolve complex issues with legal, finance, or supervisors.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements.
  • Oversee the execution of agreements at the portfolio level according to each study contract plan.
  • Oversee the maintenance of contract files and databases.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in contract management, preferably in a clinical research or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulations applicable to clinical trials.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with managing budgets and resources.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
  • Certification in contract management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with electronic contract management systems.
