About the Role
Affirm is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack team building customer experiences for the Affirm Card. This role will partner closely with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to deliver high-quality features.Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of engineers building customer experiences across React Native and supporting backend services.
- Own delivery for the team’s roadmap, driving planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Analytics to define goals, success metrics, and priorities for Card Experience.
- Maintain high engineering standards, including system design, code quality, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineers or equivalent leadership experience.
- Experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity.
- Technical depth to guide architecture and quality decisions, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
