About the Role
The Technical Success team at Openai is dedicated to ensuring the safe and effective deployment of ChatGPT and Openai API applications. As a Manager of Solutions Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the technical aspects of Openai's sales motion. Your primary focus will be on driving customer value, impact, and adoption of Openai's models and platforms. You will be the voice of the customer, unifying customer-facing technical teams around a cohesive, world-class experience.As a technical leader, you will oversee the pre-sales solution design and technical validation process, while also partnering with post-sales teams to ensure continuity and long-term success for customers. Your expertise in GTM and Excel will be essential in driving sales growth and customer engagement. You will report directly to the Head of Technical Success, APAC, and will be based in Bangalore, India.
What You Will Do
- Craft and continuously refine the strategic vision for Openai's Solutions Engineering function, aligning it with broader company objectives and customer needs.
- Lead and mentor a multifaceted team of Solutions Engineers, fostering an environment that promotes seamless customer engagement, maximum adoption, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including GTM, Product, Engineering, and Research, to ensure synergy and cohesion in customer engagement strategies.
- Act as the escalation technical contact for key clients, building trust and a direct line of communication with executive-level stakeholders.
- Develop and execute large-scale technical success strategies, driving customer value and adoption of Openai's models and platforms.
- Champion a customer-first approach within the organization, inspiring your team to prioritize client satisfaction and success.
- Distill complex technical concepts into clear, comprehensible communication, adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Present and communicate effectively with executive-level individuals, both internally and externally.
