About the Role

The Manager, Solutions Engineering will play a pivotal role in Wiz's Japan operations, leading a team of skilled solutions engineers and driving cloud security solutions for top-tier clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with a cutting-edge company that is revolutionizing the cloud security landscape. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cloud security strategies, leveraging your expertise in Salesforce, Excel, and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security, network engineering, and operating system principles, as well as experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of solutions engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure exceptional performance and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute comprehensive cloud security strategies for large enterprise clients
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Partner with product teams to provide feedback and input on product development
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency across the organization
  • Manage and optimize cloud security infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Conduct risk-based security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security, network engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management
  • Strong technical skills, including expertise in Salesforce, Excel, and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, including hands-on experience with cloud security platforms
  • Strong understanding of operating system, virtual machine, and container principles
  • Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with traditional CSPM tools and/or cloud infrastructure security
  • Technical SaaS selling experience
  • Awareness of the CI/CD process and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
