About the Role
The Strategic Advisory Services Manager position at Crowdstrike is a pivotal role that involves leading a team of consultants dedicated to helping clients enhance their security programs, educate their employees, and develop tailored cyber initiatives. This team acts as a trusted advisor to Crowdstrike's clients, serving as a source of expertise in areas related to security strategy and readiness posture. The manager will oversee multiple engagements, ensuring their success, coaching consultants, and ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.The role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity, the ability to lead and grow high-performing teams, and excellent communication skills to engage with executive and senior management individuals effectively. The manager must also be comfortable being the initial escalation point for difficult client situations and be adept at maintaining standardized and repeatable processes while engaging directly in customer work.
What You Will Do
- Oversee large and complex Strategic Advisory Services engagements, supporting a dedicated project team and engaging with executive-level individuals across various industry segments.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Strategic Advisory Services practice, serving as a primary contact for coordination of activities with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Act as the first point of escalation for any issues arising during service delivery, upholding and promoting the highest standards of quality across all Strategic Advisory Service offerings.
- Coach and mentor a team of highly skilled consultants, contributing to their growth and development.
- Hire, train, and develop new consultants to ensure the team's continued excellence.
- Develop, refine, and maintain tools, processes, and methodologies to deliver high-quality work efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with Crowdstrike leadership to develop strategic plans for the Strategic Advisory Services practice that align with organizational objectives.
- Effectively communicate at all levels within Crowdstrike and with customers, from executive leadership to technical support teams.
- Work with the Sales team to scope new customer engagements, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 10 years of experience in team leadership, preferably in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong background in programmatic and security strategy, with the ability to advise clients on enhancing their security programs.
- Experience in developing and implementing tailored cyber initiatives for clients.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level individuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to escalated issues effectively.
- Experience in sales support and thought leadership, with the ability to contribute to the growth of the Strategic Advisory Services practice.
