About the Role
As the Managing Director for Australia at Equinix, Inc., you will lead the business strategy and operations, driving growth and customer satisfaction. Your success will be rooted in defining a strategic vision and executing comprehensive market development plans.Responsibilities
- Own the vision for the Australian market and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop a strategic metro plan, including objectives for retail verticals, networks, and hyperscale.
- Manage senior relationships with customers, addressing any delivery gaps.
- Establish relationships with in-country representatives to build strategic alliances.
- Analyze competitor positioning and identify expansion opportunities.
- Oversee the financial metrics of the country, reporting on P&L and flagging financial risks.
- Act as the public liaison and statutory representative in the country.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior management role, ideally within digital infrastructure or technology.
