About the Role

The Mandarin Interpreter role at Two95 International is a unique opportunity to support real-time communication between English and Mandarin speakers. As a remote worker, you will be responsible for interpreting live phone conversations covering a range of topics, including customer service, healthcare and insurance, government and utilities, travel-related matters, and emergency services. You will be working with a team of interpreters and will be required to provide high-quality interpretation services to clients.

The role entails working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing accurate and efficient interpretation services. You will be required to work independently, but also collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication. The team you will be working with is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients, and you will be an integral part of this team.

What You Will Do

  • Interpret live phone conversations between English and Mandarin speakers
  • Provide high-quality interpretation services to clients
  • Work with a team of interpreters to ensure seamless communication
  • Provide interpretation services for a range of topics, including customer service, healthcare and insurance, government and utilities, travel-related matters, and emergency services
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing accurate and efficient interpretation services
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality service to clients
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve interpretation skills
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data protection and confidentiality
  • Meet performance targets, including quality and productivity standards

What We Are Looking For

  • Fluency in English (reading, speaking, writing)
  • Fluency in Mandarin (reading, speaking, writing)
  • Ability to work night shifts (rotational)
  • Quiet and secure home workspace
  • Location in Malaysia
  • Ownership of a smartphone (Android 12+ / iOS 15+) or a laptop with updated OS
  • Strong communication and interpretation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate interpretation services

Nice to Have

  • Experience working as an interpreter
  • Knowledge of industry-specific terminology
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies
  • Certification in interpretation or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote environment
