Job Description

About the Role

The Market Access Manager role at Sobi is a critical position that supports the development and implementation of market access strategies for the company's pipeline and launch products in Germany. This role is part of a dynamic team that works closely with various functions across Sobi, including medical, marketing, and finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing pre-launch market access activities, with a focus on pricing and reimbursement dossier development.

As a Market Access Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission and preparation of regulatory documents. Your expertise in market access, HTA, and epidemiology will be essential in informing pricing strategies and supporting the development of value-reflecting pricing strategies.

The role reports to the Market Access New Products Lead DACH and is a key member of the local Market Access function. You will be working closely with the Global Patient Access organization to prepare and implement strategies that ensure early and unconditional access for patients to Sobi's products.

What You Will Do

  • Develop AMNOG and EU-HTA dossier strategies in close collaboration with the Market Access New Products Lead DACH
  • Prepare AMNOG dossiers, including analysis and discussion of clinical trial results and their methodology
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstream teams to ensure preparation of appropriate AMNOG dossiers
  • Support the preparation of (early) G-BA consultations as required
  • Engage with KOLs to support dossier strategy development, dossier preparation, and KOL support during oral hearings
  • Collaborate with global teams to reflect Germany-specific requirements in EU-HTA dossier preparation
  • Work in a cross-functional team with different functions across Sobi to support and develop market access projects
  • Propose, coordinate, and lead appropriate HEOR or RWE projects to inform pricing strategies
  • Update local and global cross-functional teams on environment changes, proposed strategies, and ongoing activities related to market access responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

  • University degree in (health) economics, pharmaceutical, healthcare management, natural science, or similar
  • At least 1-2 years of biotech/pharmaceutical/consulting experience in a reimbursement/market access-related role
  • Experience in medical writing, ideally in the market access area, combined with experience in clinical data design and interpretation, HTA, epidemiology, and statistics
  • Deep knowledge of the market access environment and healthcare system in Germany, specifically AMNOG regulation and reimbursement pathways
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams under time pressure and with senior management attention
  • Very good communication skills (oral and written) in both German and English
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
